Relationship With God

 Do you have a relationship with the Lord? All He wants from you is to have a relationship with Him.

In this busy and chaotic world that we live in, it is too easy to get carried away with the material things that we as people seem to think that we have to have. It's nice to have the money, the cars, and the houses, but, what do we do when all of these things don't really give us any satisfaction. We all need to at some point in our lives evaluate exactly where it is that we are headed. And upon this self-examination we find ourselves needing something else; something that will fill the vacuum inside of us, an empty space that none of these things that once seemed important really seem to quite cut it anymore.

So, what do you do when you find yourself at this point? I guess many start to wonder or search for something else that can bring some level of satisfaction. There are many choices out there, but did you know that God is also out there? And just waiting for you to call out to Him?

He wants to fill that space inside you! He is there for you and willing to help you along your path in life.

Maybe at this point in your life you have been trying to do everything in your own strength, and maybe things have just not quite worked out the way you would have liked them to. If you start to learn how to lean on God and start to follow the plan He has set for your life, you will discover that things will begin to fall into place. And the way will be exciting as well!

This is obviously all about faith and trust and can be a whole new learning experience, and the first thing to realize is that surrendering your life to Him is not giving up your life but rather allowing the destiny of your life to flow.

"For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

This is a wonderful thing folks, God does have a wonderful plan for each of us, all planned and put into place before you were born.

So, begin to seek Him, call out, pray, just let it flow. Allow Him in to your life and experience the love and joy that can be yours.
